It
has been a privilege to work, over the last five
years, with Pastors Roderick and Resel Tesalona.
During those five years we have seen this church
pioneered and established in a “squatters
area” of Manila, Philippines. The church is
growing and has various ministries developing. The
ACJM church building is within 200 yards of the
squatters homes and has a very good presence throughout
the week into that area.
Throughout 2005 Pastor Roderick and Barnabas Ministry
have been moving closer together to form a legal
partnership between ACJM & Barnabas Ministry.
We feel (from ACJM & barnabas Ministry) that
it only expresses organizationally what is already
happening spiritually. Barnabas Ministry now has
a Philippines office in ACJM and Jay Barcebel is
our administrator there. |

The
ACJM Pre-School has become a great blessing to
the poor children from the surrounding squatters
area neighbourhood. |

We
met Pastor Joe Orbe with his wife Sister Lotte during
our Barnabas Ministry visit to the Philippines in
March 2004. God has blessed their ministry in Iligan.
The church was only started a few years ago, and
has grown into a strong vibrant testimony in Iligan
City. |

We
met Pastor Gloria Beronio during our Barnabas Ministry
visit to the Philippines in March 2004. She is the
Senior Minister of ‘Lanao Gospel to the Nations,
churches, which has a mother church at Maranding,
Lanao del Norte, Mindanao, and 12 satellite churches
penetrating into difficult and unreached areas. |

Mindanao
is an important mission field. It has a population
of over 20 million people and a number of different
ethnic groups of which 12 have been classified as
virtually un-reached by the Gospel. The above picture
show some of the leaders of ‘Lanao Gospel
to the Nations’ churches who are seeking to
penetrate into the un-reached areas.
